This application currently contains 9 "things" I find useful. I keep this application open in the background (yes I have enough memory, though you should be able to reduce its needs now if desired) and use its parts whenever I need them. They are each explained under their respective topics. Click each of the icons on the left in turn to find out more about them. To customize which tools show when you start DeskMates, select the File menu Preferences item, and check those you want. Note that this also allows you to set the appearance (ie disappearance) of specific tools when DeskMates is in the background. Help is available at all times by clicking the Command-? help keys, or you can click the icon of the tool you are using (they are usually displayed prominently somewhere on each window & match the ones you see to the left of this field).
This application is shareware. If you find yourself using it regularly for over 15 days, then please (i) send your suggestions to me for its improvement, (ii) send the shareware fee, ie $20 to me at the address list below. I know this is steep, but it's all the publishers of any such software would ever give me anyway! I am still improving this application as I broaden my wish list of simple useful things available in one place (and hopefully without increasing the RAM footprint any more).
